Conversations in Colour

During London Design Festival 2025, textile artist Caitlin Hinshelwood and I showcased our new textile works in an exhibition titled ‘Conversations in Colour’ at Praxis Studios in Stoke Newington. The exhibition featured wall hangings, banners and quilts.

Born out of our teaching on the Colour project at Central Saint Martins and our many conversations on colour, the exhibition brought together our textile practices to continue the colourful dialogues and associations within the gallery.

The quilts are now available to buy in my shop.

Ahead of the show, we had a lovely conversation with artist Joanna Brinton as part of her series - Conversations on Making.

We talked about how the exhibition came to be and our individual practices. Jo created a beautiful printed edit of our conversation that visitors could take away.
